2002s coaches take football to the kids

Friday 22nd June saw the Beith Juniors 2002 coaches host a training session in Beith Primary School. The event was promote health, fitness and to discover new footballing talent. Coach Stewart managed to give the primary 4 & 5 kids a thorough warm up and introduce them to some basic footballing skills. He also managed to confuse the kids with his reversie game.

Some of the kids already play for the 2002s team and they took part in the exercises too albeit neither the warm-up or skills training were a challenge for the teams players as they have fitness training every week both at training and before their matches. All the kids seem to enjoy the sessions with the 1 on 1 , 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 sessions proving popular.

The coaches of the 2002 team are committed to educating the wider community to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, physical exercise and team play and are more than happy to make the training sessions are regular occurrences in the Primary school.
